Practicals advices and informations
We strongly suggest that you rent a car in order to be able to move around at your own will. Upon your arrival in the airport all major rental companies are situated in the hall prior to exiting the airport. It is always better to make arrangements prior to your arrival, by internet, specially during high season. You will also find some rental companies in Puerto Morelos. You will be able to park your car safely in front of "La Petite France".
We offer you the possibility of renting bicycles allowing you to make your way into the village of Puerto Morelos and get to discover the area. Costs is very reasonnable and is ajusted according to the duration of your stay. Inquire upon your arrival to "La Petite France".
In order to stay in touch with your loved ones all our rooms are equipped with WIFI. We also rent local cellular phones for the duration of your stay.
In Mexico the voltage is 110 and we use the same connections as those in North America. Do not forget to bring your adaptors and should you not have one, some can be found nearby.
Even though they say the water is purified, we strongly suggest the use of bottled water. Upon your arrival at "La Petite France" a 20 litre bottle of water will be given to you at no extra cost. Should you require more, we will be happy to provide you some at an extra cost of $4.00usd.
Please remember to pack the necessaries for your stay in the Caribbean; suntan lotion, insect repellent, sun glasses, beach towel, hat and comfortable shoes should you want to go on tours.
